waves crash

Carpe Diem Modern Times Haiku #4 waves crash

the waves crash
pushed by the moon's gravity
©  Janice Adcock 2005
seeking ebb's rest

rest does not come easily
for the watery hostage

queenly moon rules
with a sly smile and a wink
she pulls and pushes

nothing resists her intrigue
the allure of the nightly queen

ancients plant their crops
planters seek her advise . .
moon light lovers shag

moving with passioned rhythm
pushed by the moon's gravity
