I awake
No sun today
Clouds bring moisture.
I read
Of full lives
Awash with friends.
I miss
Time with friends
Sharing birthday luncheons.
I cry
Silent tears
Washing away loneliness.
The love
Of those friends
Still surrounds life.
I smile
The memory of my
Lifetime, friendship filled.
