Ese's "fingertips"

Here is Ese's haiku in response to the recent challenge of pine tree.

fingertips 

stroking scales of a pine cone

-forest memories

The challenge is to write two lines of 7 sylabylls each that continue the sense of the above lines.  Sounds easy enough at first glance, but oh, my.  Click here for more info then give it a whirl yourself.  Here is my attempt.

mountains stripped of green beauty

lightning strike -

touch of fiery fingertips

forest revival!
