The Narrow Road

Carpe Diem #871 The Narrow Road continues: for a while; a summer mountain; even woodpeckers

A trip is such fun and can be daunting.  We are looking forward to an adventure in Europe beginning in March.  The trip starts on March 23 in Dallas with a flight ending in Amsterdam.  Three days exploring there.  Boarding a long boat we shall continue on the Rhine, Main and Danube Rivers.  Eight countries and three and a half weeks later ends in Bucharest.  Well, it ends back in Dallas in the wee hours of the morning followed with a four hour ride back to our central Texas home.  We will have five days to recover to being our soccer game duties.

It will be exciting and informative.  We will experience all the beauty along the way.  Probably another couple thousand photos, at least.  There will be haiku and haibun.  New acquaintances will be made.  Such joy to have this opportunity.  Once again to travel...
